After nearly a week of searching for a missing Richmond Heights businessman, the FBI said they found him safe Sunday night in Ontario, Canada.

Authorities said he left on his own free will.

The family thanks everyone for their support, love and loyalty in helping to find Pat.

“He’s safe, alive and well” and that’s what matters said his family members.

A massive search effort went into effect after the 41-year-old was reported missing on Sept. 26. Close to 100 volunteers turned out to help look for the business owner on Saturday, searching areas including Chesterland and Mantua. The family had offered a $25,000 reward for information that led to their loved one.
