As we move closer to the end of this year, it is natural to reflect. Some of us make resolutions to do better. Others of us end commitments or make fresh starts. Wherever you may find yourself, making prayer a priority in your life will only enhance 2010.
Why pray? There are many good reasons to do so. The most important reason, however, is that talking to God changes your perspective. Spending time in his presence makes you a better human being. You certainly have important personal issues you want to talk to him about, but please extend your concern beyond yourself and your loved ones in 2010.
The list above is not comprehensive, but it is a good start. Make a commitment to pray more often and more consistently this year. Include some or all of the worthy topics above.
God bless your efforts, Family.
