It sure feels good to be at the top of your game.

That’s certainly the way comedian Steve Harvey has to feel after hearing the news that his second book, ‘Straight Talk, No Chaser’ has topped the New York Times Best Sellers list.

The new relationship tome is the follow-up to his Amistad/Harper Collins debut ‘Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which topped the list for six consecutive weeks and spent sixty weeks on the list.BlackVoices.com has learned the eagerly anticipated book, edited by Harper Collins publisher Dawn Davis, will land atop the New York Times’ Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous list for the Dec. 26 edition.

“I have often said if something happens in your life that you just can’t seem to explain …. That is usually God,” Harvey told BlackVoices.com today. “So I am grateful today for this wonderful gift…. And I thank those of you who offer your support.”

‘Straight Talk, No Chaser’ has a reported 850,000 copies in print for its first run. And industry insiders say that they are flying off the shelves.

“I go so deep into the mindset of men and how we operate and function, and I give women real things that they can do to help in their relationship,” Harvey said.

The King of Comedy is quick to correct people calling him a “relationship expert.” After three marriages and over 50 years of living, he assures everyone he has mastered manhood. And that is an essential key to a successful relationship.
