Kirk Franklin’s popular singe, “I Smile” remains No.1 at Gospel Radio for 10 consecutive weeks and continues to be No.1 at Urban AC radio for the third week in a row.
Gladys Knight, who recently performed the song with Kirk Franklin on the American Idol Finale, says “I think Kirk Franklin is awesome. “I Smile” is the first single from Franklin’s twelfth album, “Hello Fear” which – for the 12th consecutive week – is the No.1 Gospel album in the country. It’s the fourth highest Gospel debut in SoundScan history, and solidifies Franklin’s position as the music industry’s top-selling Gospel artist. This is the 10th Kirk Franklin CD to reach the No.1 position.
