A record making crowd came to Progressive Field Thursday as the Indians launched their 2012 season.
A team spokeswoman say the attendance for the home opener against the Blue Jays was 43,190, the biggest in ballpark history.
The weather turned out to be chilly but picture perfect for the first game of the season.
