All lanes of I-480 westbound were closed at Tiedeman Road in Brooklyn early Monday morning for a crash that occurred in an active work zone.
According to Brooklyn police, one person was transported from the scene to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash occurred inside a work zone just after midnight. One car was inside the work zone with heavy front end damage and a pickup truck was lying on its side also inside the work zone. It appeared that the car rear ended the truck flipping it over. One other truck had slight damage to its side.
Details of how the crash happened were not available.
The left two lanes on I-480 westbound were closed while crews were working on the Tiedeman Road overpass. All lanes were back open by 1:30 a.m.
