A Berea man was the first in line Thursday, arriving a full eight hours before the midnight opening of “The Avengers” at the Regal Cinemas at Crocker Park.

“I just want to see it all come together,” James Stringer said.

The movie, which was partially filmed in downtown Cleveland, includes all of the favorite Marvel super heroes from Iron Man to Captain America.  It’s estimated the film could bring in more than $500 million by the end of this weekend.

Stringer said he wanted to be sure to get a prime seat for what he expects to be a wonderful film.

“Nothing has ever been tried like this before,” he said as he held a giant bucket of popcorn and a soda. “This is really a daring thing when you think about it and the fact that Cleveland is showcased so beautifully
