This is my very first time blogging. So how do I start?

I was thinking about how blessed we are to have the Stellar Awards for 28 years. I can’t believe it has been 28 years. I think about how people flatter you by emulating you and we are glad that people want to be like us, but I must offer some “Pay ATTENTION not real” rules…….. what does this mean? It means there are fake, counterfeit, forged, phony, bogus, shammy (is this a word – I like it anyway?) people using the Stellar Awards name and logo for profit. You get what I mean.

So here are some “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real” rules.

1.Rule # 1 Every site that uses the Stellar Awards logo, image and name is NOT real. If the address is not 212 E. Ohio and the phone number is not 312-654-1100 – Pay ATTENTION, it is not real.

Now watch them start using our address and phone numbers.

2. Rule # 2 If people tell you that you can pay to become a Stellar Awards Nominee – “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real”. You must be a member of Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA) to enter a project. The membership fee of $85 allows you to vote. Nominees are determined by voting SAGMA members and public voting – you cannot pay to be a Stellar Awards nominee.

So, you know who you are – give them their money back and stop perpetrating. Oops, did I just say that?

3. Rule #3 If you see a picture of someone with “big hair” saying that they are the Stellar Awards President “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real”. I do not have that much hair and my complexion is darker.

4. Rule #4 The official websites associated with the Stellar Awards are:, , , , if anybody has a website which says that they are official websites for the Stellar Awards other than these that I have named; “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real”.

5. Rule #5 Our partner websites will say sanctioned by the Stellar Awards and will have our logos and will be linked to all or one of our official sites. If not “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real”.

I am writing this because I don’t want you to be confused about the Stellar Awards and what we represent. So help us out – tell these Bishops and Christians using the Stellar Awards logo and name to stop perpetrating (I like this word). Call them out to be the “Christians” they say they are.

That’s all for now – so pay attention to the “Pay ATTENTION, it is not real” rules. I look forward to hearing from you and that is real.
