Excited. Nervous. Anxious. Ready. Those are all the adjectives Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell used to describe her emotions about the upcoming “Go Get It” tour during an impromptu social cam interview with new group member, Isaac Carree.
In a silly video titled “The new group… MIM & nim!” the three gospel artists prepare the public for what to expect from the anticipated tour. Just in case you’re wondering, “MIM” is an acronym for “Mary Isaac Mary”–what the trio jokingly calls a newly formed musical group.
When “In the Middle of It” singer Isaac Carree asked Tina Campell how she felt about the upcoming tour, she responded, “I’m excited man,” then quickly apologized for not corresponding as much as her chatty sister Erica does online.
“I’m sorry I don’t see y’all more often,” she told viewers and explained that she’s often busy.
That’s understandable.
The mom, who just welcomed a new son Baby Santana Campbell on Aug. 4, has her hands full with the latest addition to the family along with all his siblings: Cierra, 18, Laiah Simone, 8, Meela Jane, 5, and Glendon Theodore, II, 3.
Busy and all, Tina Campbell is ready and eager to share music with Mary Mary supporters, including some never-before-heard material. “It’s stuff that you’ve never seen. It’s unrecorded stuff,” she said.
Although the “MIM & nim” trio is exclusively for comic relief, The Mary’sare serious about preparing something special for those who catch them on tour.
