Construction on Cedar Point’s GateKeeper ride is moving right along!
Workers have placed two of the four pieces of track that form the 170-foot lift hill and expect to top off the hill by the end of the week.
Riders will plummet 164 feet as they begin the 2 minute, 40 second journey along the beach and directly over the park’s main entrance.
GateKeeper will be the longest wing roller coaster and have the longest drop of any coaster of its kind in the world!
The winged roller coaster is scheduled top open next May.
