Four people are dead, including the suspected gunman, after shootings in multiple locations in Orange County Tuesday morning.

It all started around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday when Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Red Leaf Lane in Ladera Ranch.

One female was pronounced dead at the location, according to sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino.

The suspect, a male in his 20s, fled in an SUV into the Tustin area, where there were multiple shootings, Amormino said.

Tustin police responded to a call of a carjacking with shots fired around 5:30 a.m. near a Shell station at Red Hill Avenue and the 5 Freeway.

A bystander was shot and transported to an area hospital. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect armed with two long guns.

Police then responded to a second call of a carjacking and fatal shooting near the 55 Freeway off-ramp at McFadden Avenue and Tustin Village Way.

There was another scene at Edinger and Del Amo avenues in Tustin, behind an electronics store. That’s where the suspect reportedly shot two people during a carjacking.
