1. Pope Francis Expected to Visit Former Pope
Pope Francis is reportedly expected to meet with his predecessor today. America Cardinal Timothy Dolan said that Pope Francis told fellow cardinals that he would visit Benedict on Thursday. The Vatican has not yet confirmed the meeting.
2. Home Foreclosures at 6 Year Low
Foreclosure listing firm RealtyTrac reports that the number of homes seized by lenders in February fell 11 percent from January and 29 percent from that time last year. It is the lowest level U.S. foreclosures have been since September 2007.
3. Alleged Shooter Holed Up in Upstate NY Building
Hundreds of police officers surrounded an abandoned building on Wednesday where a man suspected of killing four people in upstate New York is believed to be holed up. There is no motive for the shooting.
4. Christie, Gates Fall Victim to Hackers
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Bill Gates are the latest to fall victim to a hacking scandal in which hackers stole and published personal credit information. Some of the other high profile names who have been hacked include First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Biden.
