This year marks the 55th and final Eggshelland Easter display, presented by Ron and Betty Manolio.
This will be their 55th year in which their entire front yard is transformed into different eggshell mosaic designs, always including a 45 ft. cross and the Mascot Easter Bunny.
The display includes more than 21 thousand eggshells painted in 24 different colors. It is the only display of its kind in the world.
It is a family project that started when Ron’s mother placed dyed eggshells on bushes in front of her house.
The theme this year is “A Labor of Love.” This theme includes a tribute to Ron Manolio who passed away, and contains 2,619 shells
Eggshelland will be on display until April 1, 2013.
