Some of today’s most talented television and music stars will come together to join Judge Mablean Ephriam in honoring Fathers on Sunday, June 16th. Hosted by Judge Mablean Ephriam, Founder/Chair of the H.U. F. Awards, and the Mablean Ephriam Foundation, a non-profit, public benefit corporation, the Honoring Unsung Fathers (H.U.F.) Awards and Scholarship Brunch is scheduled to take place at 1:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 200 South Pine Ave in Long Beach, California.
Celebrities such as Elise Neal, (TV One’s Under Shepherd, Hustle & Flow and The Hughleys), Vanessa A. Williams, (New Jack City, Soul Food and Lincoln Heights), Shari Headley (Coming to America, Johnson Family Vacation and Shaq Comedy Network), andEdwina Findley (HBO’S Treme, The Wire and Red Tails) will present the five winning father’s with awards for their outstanding commitment to their family and/or community. In addition to these awards, Judge Mablean and the MEF Board of Director will make a special presentation to the Founder’s Awardee; Dr. Robert A. Williams,(Pastor McCoy Memorial Baptist Church) and Board of Director’s Awardee; Robert Brown, (President, University of West Los Angeles Law School).
