R&B stars Brandy, Joe, Babyface and Jennifer Hudson will be performing alongside gospel staples Mary Mary and Kim Burrell at the “Women of Purpose” concert held on August 31 of the multi-day Dallas festival.
Signature events ManPower, Woman Thou Art Loosed, MegaYouth, and MegaKidz will take place on site at MegaFest, which Jakes is calling “big.”
While a strong showing of support is expected—50,000 attendees from some 40 countries—the mega pastor has received some criticism for his decision to marry the sacred and secular.
