VH1 has ordered six half-hour episodes of the tentatively-titled LeAnn & Eddie, scheduled to air this fall or winter, from Gurney Productions (Duck Dynasty).
It will follow the trails and tribulations of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian.The couple wed in 2011. They met while filming the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, is a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes cheated on their respective spouses when the Northern Lights costars embarked on an infamous romance in 2009 — eventually leading to the end of both of their first marriages.
The network described the pair as “a typical normal modern family,” co-parenting Cibrian’s two sons from his first marriage, to former model Brandi Glanville. But “life outside the home for them is very different because they live in a fishbowl where the paparazzi stalk them, the tabloids report on any detail and the public gets only part of the real story.”
