Following the likes of her Dreamgirls co-star Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, the Oscar winner chopped off her locks, showing off her chic new pixie cut at Black Girls Rock! at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center Saturday in Newark N.J.
The singer first revealed a shorter look at the MTV Video music awards in August, hitting the carpet with a ‘do that was short on one side and long on the other.
Saturday, her hair was even shorter, and she looked stunning as she posed on the carpet in a body-hugging black dress. The American Idol star also flaunted her new hairstyle on Instagram that day, striking fierce poses against a white wall.
“Black girls rock! Yep , catch it! You’ve been jenniferized…catch it!!,” she wrote, alongside the pic.
