One woman was hospitalized after inhaling smoke in a house fire on Cedar Road in University Heights early Monday morning.
The fire was reported just after 1 a.m. on Cedar Road, just west of Belvoir Boulevard.
Firefighters believe the fire started in the kitchen.
No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters from neighboring cities assisted at the scene.
