We’ve seen  it and inwardly had to cringe….this new brand of reality shows that targets the gospel industry. From our mega-stars, newbies & wanna-bees, preacher wives, and now even the pastors themselves — EVERYONE is getting a chance at the spotlight.  Although the exposure may be great, sometimes what is displayed isn’t the best witness to our number one mission – reaching the lost soul.

Understanding the argument that yes, men and women of clergy are REAL people to. They fight. They laugh. They deal with real life issues like divorce, infedility, money, family, ambition, fears, and foes — just like the rest of us, but when you see how carnal (or egotistical) a pastor is, does it make you want to go to his church? Futhermore, does it make you want to have a piece of his God? If the answer is NO then perhaps we need to rethink the role we are allowing  the thirst for fame and fortune to play in all of our lives.
