New video has been released that shows the moments immediately after 12-year-old Tamir Rice was shot and killed by a Cleveland officer.
The new 30-minute video outside the Cudell Recreation Center begins shortly before Tamir is shot. The fresh footage shows what happened moments later as somebody is seen walking in from the left side of the screen. That person is quickly put on the ground by police and escorted into the back of the cruiser.
Although that person’s identity has not been confirmed, Tamir’s family says officers had placed his sister in handcuffs at the scene shortly after the shooting.
