Police are searching for suspects after shots were fired near John Adams High School in Cleveland.

Police say they responded to a call of shots being fired Thursday at 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Corlett Avenue.

The intersection is across the street from the high school that serves 1,100 students who were immediately placed on lockdown as a precaution.

No students were injured.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found an empty SUV with at least three to four bullet holes and non one inside.
