As temperatures continue to drop, the number of people who may need a place to keep warm goes up.
The list of warming centers around northeast Ohio continues to grow:
• St. Mary’s Church at 320 Middle Ave. in Elyria will be open from 3-9 p.m. on Saturday
• Canton Fire Station #4 at 2502 Cleveland Ave. NW from 8-8 on Saturday and Sunday
• Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building at 3450 Lee Rd., Shaker Heights, Friday evening, Feb. 13 – Tuesday morning, Feb. 17.
The following Cleveland rec centers will be open 24 hours beginning Saturday at 6 p.m. through Monday at 8 a.m.:
• Collinwood Recreation Center at 16300 Lakeshore Ave.
• Zelma George Recreation Center at 3155 Martin Luther King Blvd.
• Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center at 8611 Hough Ave.
• Michael Zone Recreation Center at 6301 Lorain Ave.
