Last year, for Spring Break, First Lady Michelle Obama took the first daughters Sasha and Malia to China.
This year, the trio is headed for an all-girls trip to Japan, according to a Foreign Ministry official.
Tokyo and Washington are collaboratively coordinating the upcoming visitation, which includes a stop in Kyoto, the capital of Japan.
Home to countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures, there is plenty to see in Kyoto.
