The Cleveland Cavaliers will battle the Boston Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Jae Crowder hit an off-balance fall-away shot from deep with .8 seconds left in Tuesday night’s game, lifting Boston to a 95-93 win over the Toronto Raptors to secure the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference for the Celtics.
It was the fifth straight win for the Celtics, who clinched a playoff spot on Monday when Brooklyn lost.
The Cavs and Celtics split the season series two games apiece – with Boston dominating Cleveland in its last matchup 117-78 as the “Big 3” sat.
Game 1 of the playoff battle will be at the Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday or Sunday.
