It’s been nearly two years since the shock of Ariel Castro’s heinous crimes reverberated throughout Cleveland and the world.
There are many facts we all know: three women and a little girl escaped from his home the afternoon of May 6, 2013. Amanda Berry led the charge, and two neighbors, including Charles Ramsey, helped them break down Castro’s front door.
The women had been missing from their homes — which were all less than two miles from where they were held captive — for more than a decade.
And we know that, while Michelle Knight has spent a lot of time in public since her captivity — appearing at public events, speaking to media and signing a contract with Dr. Phil — the other two girls have led largely private lives.
