Cedar Point is ready to announce its big plans for next year.

The amusement park in Sandusky says it will unveil its new ride for 2016 on Sept. 9.

Signs are pointing at a new roller coaster for next season as track is already arriving outside the park.

Cedar Point delayed the announcement that was supposed to come in mid-August after a park visitor was hit and killed by a roller coaster.

Forty-five-year-old James A. Young of East Canton died after he jumped over a security fence to retrieve a cellphone that he dropped while riding the inverted Raptor roller coaster.
