People are demanding change as a family grieves the loss of a 5-year old Cleveland boy. Family, friends, and leaders in an east side neighborhood are coming together to say enough is enough when it comes to gun violence.

This response from the community comes after the Friday shooting death of Ramon Burnett. Police tell Fox 8 he was the victim of a drive by shooting near his family’s home on Louise Harris Court.

Cleveland police charged Dontavious Williams with aggravated murder in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, on Sunday night people came together to stand against the violence that took the life of the little boy.

“It shouldn’t take this for us to realize that it’s time to stop, wake up, join, to unite, not destroy each other,” Sadie Russell said.
