The Ohio State Buckeyes score three touchdowns of at least 53-yards in their 42-24 win against Virginia Tech on Monday night.

“Who will Urban Meyer start at Quarterback this season?” That was the question of the summer for College Football fans across the country. Glenville native Cardale Jones got the start for the Buckeyes and he led the Buckeyes to a quick 14-0 lead in their first two quarter.

Jones found Curtis Samuel in the back of the endzone for a 24-yard touchdown to give the Buckeyes their first touchdown of the 2015 season. Their very next play on offense was an 80-yard touchdown run by Ezekiel Elliott, who finished the game with 11 carries, 122 yards and one touchdown.

The Buckeye celebration would quiet down completely after allowing 17 unanswered points to the Hokies to finish the first half, thanks to two touchdown passes by Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Brewer.
