Cleveland residents sound off about debris-filled streets and a drop in overall street sweeping in their city.

newsnet5.com took a series of phone calls from residents living in all parts of Cleveland who told us to take pictures of clogged catch basins and storm sewers in their neighborhoods.

It didn’t take long to find issues, both in the neighborhoods and on primary and secondary routes in the city, especially on the near west side.

Community activist David Reuse showed us many areas where it was apparent the streets hadn’t been swept in quite some time.

“Clark, Lorain, Detroit, Storer — Storer is considered a primary street,” said Reuse. “Dennison is extremely bad, I mean, look at that catch basin over there.
