Erica Campbell electrified attendees of a charitable concert with her powerful performance of “A Little More Jesus.”
The multiple Grammy Award winner donated her talents for the “A New Day: Concert for a Cause” at Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills Sunday to benefit charities serving the urban community.
Actress, singer and Grammy Award winner, Dawnn Lewis, co-organizer with the Los Angeles Urban League, told CBS Los Angeles that Campbell, Doug E. Fresh, Patrice Rushen and Euge Groove each took the stage free of charge.

The 54-year-old said she approached the artists and asked, “How would you feel about donating a performance to benefit nonprofit organizations that really don’t get that kind of notoriety or that financial support, who are doing the best they can to do the best they can to keep their doors open, but the services that they provide are just invaluable?
