An anonymous donor visited two Ohio Walmarts recently, spreading holiday cheer by paying off the stores’ entire layaways.

Steelyard Commons in Cleveland had about $70,000 in layaway goods and the store in Lorain had about $36,000, which means the donor paid a total of more than $106,000, Walmart says.

Walmart spokesman Wyatt Jefferies said in a statement, “Christmas is a time of year when people go above and beyond to give back to their neighbors and communities. When customers anonymously pay off others’ layaway items we’re reminded of the amazing things people will do to support each other.”

Walmart has recently seen more examples of generosity in different areas of the U.S.

A man, known as “Santa B,” paid off about $180,000 of layaway items in two stores in Pennsylvania, according to the retail giant.
