Merry and bright could have described Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on Tuesday night, where longs lines seemed to disappear as quickly as they formed.

“Went downstairs and thought we were the only ones in the airport for a little while,” said Bob Onzrizek, who was traveling to Los Angeles with his daughter.

There were few complaints on what could shape up to be one of the busiest holiday travel seasons ever.

According to AAA, more than 100 million people will travel 50 miles or more over the next two weeks.
