The missing 2-year-old in Lorain was found around 1:15 a.m. Thursday, several hours after she was reported to have wandered away from her home and sparked a massive search.

Police said a resident called 911 after finding Lana Lowther crawling in the snow about half a mile from her home.
She was rushed to the hospital and may be suffering from exposure, but is alive and well, police said.

The man who found her said he was heading home but instead of his usual route, he decided to detour to see if he could find the little girl, because he had seen so many social media and news postings about it.

While he was driving on Missouri Ave. when he spotted the girl crawling in the snow — and said he recognized her right away.
