Cedar Point is continuing work on their new roller coaster Valravn and some other finishing touches before the gates open this spring.

The new additions were revealed at Saturday’s Winter Chill Out event, which donated all money from ticket sales to a local organization that helps families with children battling life-threatening illnesses.

More than $40,000 was raised.

One new feature will be Sunrise Thrill Tours, where guests can see what goes into ‘waking up’ a roller coaster. They will be able to learn about safety, the technical side of things and climb to the top of Valravn, which peaks at 223 feet in the air.

There is also a Ride Warriors Club. Members who join will get exclusive park access, private ride time, cool photo and video opportunities and more.
