The Cleveland Indians announced the lineup of festivities for the home opener April 4, all to encapsulate the team’s new slogan: “Only here.”

Only at Progressive Field on April 4 can fans see Patrick Carney, drummer of Akron’s The Black Keys, throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

William Clarence Marshall, another northeast Ohio local, will sing the national anthem.

Some famous Tribe alumni also will be in attendance. Bill Selby, Travis Hafner and Kenny Lofton will be recognized in a pregame ceremony to commemorate the “only here” moments of Progressive (and Jacob’s) Field.
