Trump Win Ends Talk Of Contested GOP Convention:

So much for a historic convention floor fight in Cleveland this summer.

The prospect of a contested Republican convention captivated party officials, political junkies and the media for months — sending everyone to the rulebooks for a refresher on how the nomination process works.
That’s all a pipe dream now.
Donald Trump emerged Tuesday as the GOP’s presumptive 2016 nominee following a commanding win in Indiana and Ted Cruz’s decision to drop out of the race.

Medical Errors May Be Third Leading Cause Of Death In The U.S.:

You’ve heard those hospital horror stories where the surgeon removes the wrong body part oroperates on the wrong patient or accidentally leaves medical equipment in the person they were operating on.

Even scarier, perhaps, is a new study in the latest edition of BMJ suggesting most medical errors go unobserved, at least in the official record.
In fact, the study, from doctors at Johns Hopkins, suggests medical errors may kill more people than lower respiratory diseases like emphysema and bronchitis do. That would make these medical mistakes the third leading cause of death in the United States. That would place medical errors right behind heart disease and cancer.

A secret to all these things — at least according to onenew study — is calorie restriction.
Researchers at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, recruited more than 200 healthy women and men between the ages of 20 and 50. Each had a body mass index between 22.0 and 28.0, making them either normal weight or overweight, but not obese.
