Cedar Point and Soak City will be closed Monday due to this afternoon’s heavy storms that rolled through Sandusky, according to park officials.
Winds and heavy rains damaged power lines Sunday afternoon. Police and fire closed down the causeway leading into the park.
Some visitors reported they were stranded between power lines for over five hours before they were able to leave.
