President Obama called Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue on Thursday.
Obama congratulated Lue and his team on winning the 2016 NBA Championship.
He praised the team’s hard work and determination, according to a press release from the White House Press Office.
Obama also gave a special shout out to LeBron James for being named MVP.
He ended the call by inviting the entire team to the White House to celebrate the championship.
It has not yet been announced when the team will visit the White House.
