It’s no secret that Cleveland is a competitive medical market, except where public health is concerned.
All of the medical systems are working together to make sure the Republican National Convention is covered health wise.
They split up resources. Cleveland Clinic medical staff will handle inside Progressive Field and Quicken Loans arena, where the Republican National Convention takes place.
MetroHealth Medical Center will set up medical centers outside those buildings within the security zone.
UH Case Medical Center staff will manage the Global Center for Health Innovation and the Huntington Convention Center.
St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is the closest hospital to the zone and would be expected to handle walk in emergencies.
