Let Hope Rise,” the film that chronicles the journey of Hillsong UNITED, will be distributed through the streaming platform Pure Flix.

Helmed by Michael John Warren, the feature film will follow the Aussie band’s rise from performing at a tiny church in Sydney into becoming one of the biggest acts in the world, “whose songs are sung every Sunday by more than 50 million people across the globe.”

In fact, the songs by Hillsong UNITED, which has sold over 17 million albums, has been translated into 60 languages.

Brian Houston, founding pastor at Hillsong Church, said they are thrilled at the prospect of Pure Flix distributing the “Let Hope Rise.”

“It’s our hope that by sharing an up-close and unvarnished look inside our music and lives, we can shatter pre-conceived notions of what it means to follow Jesus in today’s modern world,” he said.
