We all desire to be near our Lord and Savior, but until the day comes when we will get to meet Him face-to-face, we need to draw closer to Him here on earth.
So today, I’m bringing you God’s perfect number of tips, 7, to help you stay in His presence!
#1 Pray. Psalms 145:18 (NKJV) says, “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.”
Prayer is the way we connect with God. When you pray, don’t merely ask for things you want. Pray His will. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) reads, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Trust and believe, you will get the desires of your heart if they match God’s will for you.
#2 Read your Word. Joshua 1:8 (NIV) says, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
When we want to learn more about someone, we read their biography. When we want to learn more about God, we read the Bible. Study the Bible and memorize the verses so that the Lord is always on your mind and in your spirit. Then your bond will grow stronger with Him.
