The Cleveland Water Department has issued a precautionary boil water alert for portions of eastern Cuyahoga County from Chagrin Boulevard south to Aurora Road/Solon Road and Northfield Center Road east to the Chagrin River.
Officials say the precautionary boil alert is in effect UNTIL NOON MONDAY DEC. 5.
Customers in the affected area should bring all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes to a rolling boil for 1-3 minutes before using.
The communities affected include portions of Moreland Hills, Woodmere, Orange, Highland Hills, Warrensville Heights, North Randall, Beachwood, Bedford Heights, Solon, and Bentleyville.
