Senate Rejects Proposal To Repeal And Replace Obamacare:

Senate Republicans voted Tuesday afternoon to advance to floor debate on their efforts to re-write health care policy, with Vice President Mike Pence breaking the tie.

But hours later, the Senate decisively rejected a Republican proposal to repeal-and-replace Obamacare, a sign of the chaos expected to envelop Capitol Hill as GOP leaders work to find a plan their conference can agree to.

Trump Makes ‘Presidential’ Pitch At Ohio Rally:

President Donald Trump returned to the campaign stage Tuesday, holding a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, where he defended his unconventional approach as necessary to change the country for the better.

“It is much easier to act presidential than what we are doing here tonight, believe me,” Trump said. “With the exception of the late, great Abraham Lincoln, I can be more presidential than any president that’s ever held this office.”

One Migrant Who Died In Overheated Truck Was Former DACA Recipient:

One of the undocumented migrants found dead in an overheated tractor-trailer in San Antonio early Sunday morning had been a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, officials said.

His status with the program, known as DACA, was revoked and he was deported to Guatemala in March 2017 after he was convicted of assault and battery by a mob and suspected of being an MS-13 gang member, Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Carissa Cutrell said.

Barbara Sinatra, Widow of Frank Sinatra, Dies At 90:

Barbara Sinatra, philanthropist and wife of the legendary singer Frank Sinatra, died on Tuesday at 90 years old.

John Thoresen, director of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center, told CNN Sinatra died of natural causes. She was surrounded by family and friends at her home in Rancho Mirage, California.
The former model and Las Vegas showgirl married Sinatra in 1976 and was the last of his four wives. The couple were married for 22 years when the singer died of a heart attack in 1998.

Netflix Announces New Show With ‘Simpsons’ Creator:

Netflix has ordered an adult animated comedy fantasy series from “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening.

The streaming giant grabbed twenty episodes of “Disenchantment.”
The series is described as one where viewers “will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.”
