Multiple award-winning Gospel singer, CeCe Winans, is updating concerned supporters on the health of her mother, Delores Winans, who was recently released from hospital.
Without going into specifics during the “Fall In Love Tuesdays” Facebook Live stream on Aug. 15, she said, “My mom is doing well. Thank you so much for praying for her. She’s doing really, really good, and I’m so grateful.”
The First Lady of Nashville Life Christian Church, who just wrapped her 10-city tour in support of her chart-topping album, Let Them Fall In Love, hopped on a plane to the Motor City to be at the side of Mom Winans, who turns 81 next month.
Despite the latest health setback, Winans, who says she “excited” about her three Dove Award nominations this year, assures everyone that the family matriarch is in great spirits.
“My mom is so amazing. She’s so peaceful. She trusts God with all of her heart,” she said.
