Since Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir sang at the royal wedding celebration of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, bookings are reportedly through “through the roof.”

In a sit-down chat with Reuters, Gibson says, “I physically cannot keep up with the emails and the messages, requests for interviews, and tours, and weddings.”

Since the May 19th wedding, which was watched by many millions around the world, Gibson, who is being inundated with requests, has been nicknamed “The Godmother of Gospel.”

The 20 singers she directed for the nuptials of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been widely celebrated for their stripped down version of Ben E. King’s 1962 hit song, “Stand By Me.” The Kingdom Choir members all say it has indeed been a whirlwind of media requests and fan mail.
