Record-breaking California fire may take until September to contain:
It may take until September to contain the largest fire in California history, which is now nearly the size of Los Angeles.
So far, two firefighters have been injured while fighting the Mendocino Complex Fire, which consists of two fires — the Ranch Fire and the River Fire — in Northern California. The pair have burned 292,692 acres and was 34% contained as of Tuesday evening.
The colossal fire altogether has destroyed 75 residences, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, known as Cal Fire.
Cal Fire estimated that full containment could take until September 1. The Mendocino Complex Fire ignited on July 27.
Angelina Jolie says Brad Pitt not paying ‘meaningful’ child support in new court docs:
Angelina Jolie is claiming in court documents obtained by CNN that Brad Pitt is not pulling his weight when it comes to child support for their six children.
“[Pitt] has a statutory duty to pay child support. As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation,” Jolie’s attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, writes in the legal documents that were filed on Tuesday.
DeJean goes on to state that Jolie would like the court to have Pitt pay her the money she is owed.
“Given that the informal arrangements around the payment of the children’s expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO [request for a court order] for the establishment of a retroactive child support order,” the documents state.

LeBron James to produce docuseries for Showtime called ‘Shut Up and Dribble’:
LeBron James has Fox News host Laura Ingraham to thank for the title of his new project.
Showtime on Monday announced James will executive-produce a three-part docuseries for the premium cable network called “Shut Up and Dribble,” about the evolving role that athletes, particularly those in the NBA, play in the current political environment.
The title comes from comments Ingraham directed to James on air in February, relating to news that some players from the Golden State Warriors declined an invitation to the White House after their championship win in 2018.
Director Gotham Chopra, who was also behind Showtime’s “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” will direct the series
In addition to James, Maverick Carter will serve as an executive producer.
Remains of a boy found at a compound where 11 starving children lived in filth:
The five people arrested after authorities discovered 11 malnourished children living on a filthy hidden compound in New Mexico are set to appear in court Wednesday.
Authorities raided the compound in Amalia as part of their search for Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, whose father allegedly abducted him from Georgia in November, when he was 3.
Abdul-Ghani was not among the children discovered living in squalor at the compound, but searchers found the remains of a little boy at the site Monday, and are awaiting positive identification, Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe said.
Investigators also found several items at the compound, including ammunition, white tarp, a camcorder, and a passport and Georgia identification for the boy’s father, Siraj Wahhaj.
The day the remains were found, Abdul-Ghani would have turned 4.
