Reality deals more blows to Trump’s alternative narrative:

Almost daily, reality deals another blow to the alternative narrative that President Donald Trump has constructed around his scandal-plagued presidency, campaign and business legacy.

On Tuesday, in a courtroom cliffhanger, Michael Flynn effectively eviscerated the President’s claims that the former national security adviser was trapped into lies and flipping on his boss under unfair FBI intimidation.

In another stain on the reputation of the President, the Trump Foundation agreed to disbandfollowing a suit that alleged that Trump and his elder children used it to enrich themselves

NYT: Facebook offered big tech firms more user data than previously revealed:

Facebook offered more of its users’ data to companies including Microsoft and Amazon than it has admitted, according to a new report by The New York Times.

The Times reported late Tuesday that it obtained internal Facebook (FB) documents that provided insights into the social network’s data-sharing arrangements with more than 150 companies. The deals worked on a quid-pro-quo basis, the report said, with the connections helping Facebook gain more users and its partners add new features to their products while effectively avoiding Facebook’s regular privacy rules

Penny Marshall, co-star of ‘Laverne & Shirley’ and director of ‘A League of Their Own,’ dead at 75:

Actress Penny Marshall, who found fame in TV’s “Laverne & Shirley” before going on to direct such beloved films as “Big” and “A League of Their Own,” has died. She was 75.

Marshall died peacefully in her Hollywood Hills home on Monday night due to complications from diabetes, said Michelle Bega, a spokeswoman for the family.
“Our family is heartbroken over the passing of Penny Marshall,” the Marshall family said in a statement.
Marshall, whose real name was Carole Marshall, grew up in the Bronx. Her brother was famed producer and director Garry Marshall, who directed a string of hit movies including “Pretty Woman” and “The Princess Diaries” and died in 2016.

Cardi B performs ‘I Like It’ at senior center and gets asked out on a date:

Cardi B’s appearance on “Carpool Karaoke” might be one of James Corden’s best segments yet.

The two started things out with a jam session to her hits, including “Bodak Yellow” and “Money,” with Cardi belting the lyrics out the window.
Then the conversation turned to Cardi B’s love of cars, and it turns out she owns five — including a Lamborghini, Maybach and a Bentley SUV. But she can’t drive any of them because she doesn’t know how to drive.
That’s when Corden took it upon himself to give the hitmaker a driving lesson. Let’s just say she didn’t pass the “test’ with flying colors.

Before he died, an elderly man left his 2-year-old neighbor Christmas presents for the next 14 years:

When Owen Williams opened the door of his home in Barry, Wales, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

The daughter of his elderly neighbor Ken, who had recently died, was clutching a large plastic bag, and Williams assumed it was garbage that she wanted him to throw away.
Instead, the sack contained all the Christmas gifts Ken had bought for Williams’ 2-year-old daughter for the next 14 years.
