Competitors were Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir, Bishop Hezekiah Walker & the Love Fellowship of New York City, and Ricky Dillard and New Generation Chorale of Chicago. Each group was to prepare an individual kid-friendly dish and attendees and fellow participants were allowed to taste and vote on their favorite recipe. The winning recipe, Pineapple Delight, was submitted by Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir.

Apparently, many didn’t take the information well at all, which lead some to suspect that’s why only six singers appeared alongside him on BET’s Celebration of Gospel taping two weeks ago.
