In John 13:34, Jesus said, “…Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one

another,” a command Bishop T.D. Jakes and his sister Jacqueline Jakes are carrying out.

The mega church leader, who is displaying his strong and close ties with his sibling on social media,

is working on convincing the masses to replicate that kind of intimacy in their own familial

relationships, and work things out if problems arise.

“Sisters and brothers can love each other for a lifetime! From the day my mother brought me home

from the hospital, she has been just like this,” writes 60-year-old Jakes in an Instagram caption

alongside a sweet, mushy, kissy-face photo of him and his sister, that makes you say, “Aww.”

Jacqueline is pictured sandwiching her brother’s face in between both hands and leaning in for a

smooch.

“My sister is a gift to me from God,” continued the MegaFest founder, expressing adoration for the

woman known to be his most ardent supporter.

“I adore her! She has always been such a loving, praying friend! It makes me so sad when I see

siblings miss out on such love,” said Jakes, empathizing with the many people who struggle with

strained sibling relationships.
