Arson is suspected of killing a husband and wife in Little Rock early Wednesday morning.
Cassandra Davis with Little Rock Police said fire department investigators determined a fire at 405 Markwood Road was a result of arson. The deaths of Donald Creer, 50, and Donna Creer, 57, are now considered ‘suspicous.’
Firefighters were dispatched to the home about 3:11 a.m. Once on scene, they removed both bodies, which were taken to area hospitals. Both Donald and Donna were pronounced dead at the hospital. Davis said there did not appear to be injuries to the victims, but a cause of death has not been determined.
While on scene, firefighters also noticed a sliding glass door at the back of the house that was unlocked. Firefighters and police have not determined a motive or suspects in this case.
